As sad as the loss of their parents is - that isn't the gut-wrenching moment for me. Seeing two siblings who were once really close and have grown apart because one is afraid of who she really is and not wanting to lose everything she cares about - that's the sad thing. Anna keeps coming back because she loves her sister no matter what and Elsa keeps her door shut because she's still afraid. Having to hide something about yourself from someone who loves you is such a hard thing to bear and this scene captures it beautifully. Thank you Disney. I know you helped me. And I'm sure the message of this film will go on to help countless others.
